Western Tile, Kitchen Backsplash

Hi Dick,

I ordered tile from you for a kitchen backsplash over a year ago. The project got delayed due to some fiascos on my property, including the Caldor fire that threatened my home and burned my property. Finally got to it and it turned out great, so I wanted to pass along some pictures of the project. The pictures you have of other people’s projects really helped me design my project, so I hope these pictures can help others. Thank you so much for your great tile art! (I took the box of tiles with me when I evacuated!)

Dear Dick:

On behalf of Camp Liberty and the veterans that we have serve, the board of directors would like to express our sincere thanks for Designers Choice Tile’s contribution to Camp Liberty’s Darlene Soave Lodge. The Lodge was created to be a setting that will allow the recovering veterans in our program to enjoy an environment of peace and comfort. The artistry of your tile greatly contributes to this goal and to the overall rustic feel throughout of the building.

Your tile murals have become the focal points for two rooms within the Lodge. The kitchen has been decorated using pheasants as its theme, and everyone’s attention is drawn to the large mural displaying images of pheasants, hunting dogs and wildlife in a meadow. One of the bathrooms also displays your artwork featuring bears. An intricate and beautiful ceramic tile story board provides the top border for the wall wainscot tile, and the accessible shower features a wonderful mural of a large bear with forests and mountains.

Our formal dedication ceremony was held on August 20, 2016, and we received rave reviews of the Lodge. Your ceramic tile designs received many compliments from the veterans, guests and dignitaries. They are certainly an element that people remember and share with others, making the Lodge a very special place.

We greatly appreciate you generosity in donation much of the design time and tile work. Form many years to come, it will help the veterans in our programs and our guests enjoy their time at the Camp Liberty Darlene Soave Lodge.
